Dalio Philanthropies believes in providing equal economic opportunities, enabling financial inclusion, and empowering others on their journeys to becoming self-sufficient.
As long-time supporters of organizations such as Grameen America, Robin Hood, and ACCION International, Dalio Philanthropies aims to support organizations that provide underserved communities with a range of opportunities to help build their own capacity, self-sufficiency, and resilience.
A United States-based microfinance organization, Grameen America is dedicated to helping low-income entrepreneurial women build businesses to enable financial mobility. To date, Grameen has supported over 175,000 female entrepreneurs, investing over $3 billion in capital to emerging entrepreneurs with a repayment rate of over 99%. Robin Hood, New York City’s largest poverty-fighting organization, aims to elevate people out of poverty by applying impactful and strategic solutions in the community.

We are also interested in supporting social entrepreneurs, particularly those seeking to strengthen the self-sufficiency and resiliency of communities in the United States, and in exploring impact investments as philanthropic models through which investment dollars can be recouped and repurposed for greater impact. This has led to support for organizations such as Acumen, which uses an investment approach to create a world where everyone has the same access to goods, services, and opportunities.
Dalio Philanthropies has also participated in impact investment funds such as the Accion Frontier Inclusion Fund and the Global Health Investment Fund.
