Community and the Arts
The Dalio family feels a strong connection to its community and wants to support it in a number of ways.
Numerous studies have shown that there is a strong correlation between one’s happiness and health and the quality of one’s community connections. The Dalio family and Dalio Philanthropies support numerous community organizations including the Greenwich Council Boy Scouts of America, Bruce and Byram Parks, Greenwich Library and the Prospector Foundation. In addition, music and the arts play an important role in building community which is why we support the arts both locally and nationally. Supported organizations include the Greenwich Town Party, Jazz at Lincoln Center and the Whitney Museum of American Art.
Total support from Dalio Philanthropies and family for community and arts organizations to date exceeds $172 million.
